We just watched the new Jungle book with the kids and so this song is fresh in my mind. It's a really great take on the classic and highly recommended.
Going back to the original - I love the soundtrack. So many great songs. This particular one, "I Wan'na Be Like You" is a particular favorite of mine. I prefer this more upbeat version than the Christopher Walken version. His voice was perfect for King Louie, but (For me) it was just missing that little spark that the original had.
The original is sung by Louis Prima and written by Robert and Richard Sherman.
