Today's Song Of The Day goes out to Carrie Fisher. Rest in peace Princess Leia.
She's now reunited with the rest of Alderaan.
Carrie was a supreme acting talent, novelist, and even had a hand in helping with some scripts from big movies. Obviously she is most well known for portraying Princess Leia from the original Star Wars trilogy - which is the inspiration for today's Song Of The Day.
Meco had a smash hit with this Disco version of the Star Wars Theme in 1977. I know disco isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I dig it!
What better way to celebrate someone's life than with a little dance party - hopefully there's a party when I go...
